Thundery rain central Europe, drier to the south, showers to the north


Wednesday
A breezy day in northern Spain and Portugal, but dry with lots of sunshine. Some afternoon thunderstorms forming in eastern Spain and the Balearics. Heavy showers or thudnerstorms in the far north of Italy, but dry for most with sunny spells. Staying dry and sunny across Greece and mostly dry in Turkey too, some decent spells of sunshine here.
Fair with plenty of sunshine in France, a strong Mistral blowing across southern France. Some showers to come in the Low Countries and much of central and western Germany as well as Poland. More persistent rain or thunderstorms in Austria, Hungary and Switzerland.
A mix of sunshine and showers in Denmark, but some heavier rain or showers affecting eastern parts of Sweden. Scattered showers and sunny spells for the baltic States and Finland. Sunshine and heavier showers in western Norway.

Thursday
Fair with plenty of sunshine and warm weather across Portugal today. Spain is going to be fair too, again with lots of hot sunshine. Fine across Corsica and Sardinia as well as most of Italy, just an odd afternoon shower here. Greece and Turkey will be staying hot and sunny too.
Fair in France, again with lots of sunshine throughout the day. Some cloud and showery rain in the Low Countries and northern Germany, but fair in southern Germany and sunny. Poland will be dry with plenty of sunshine. Hungary, Austria and Switzerland will also be dry, again with lots of sunshine here.
Rain reaches Denmark later, after a fine day. Sunny spells and scattered showers in the Baltic States, with wind and some outbreaks of rain in Finland. Sweden should be dry with sunny spells. Mostly fair in Norway, although rain in the south later.
