Rain or showers across Southern Europe and Alps, central and northern Europe dry Tuesday

Tuesday
Some rain or showers along the north coast of Spain and northern Portugal, however a dry and warm day expected for much of central and southern Spain and Portugal, with the highest temperatures reserved for the far south of Spain. Rain or showers through the Balearics too, especially earlier in the day.
An unsettled day expected in northern and central Italy, as a weather front becomes slow moving over the region with rain or showers through much of Tuesday. Some light rain or showers expected in Switzerland and Austria with limited brightness here. Rain or showers extending through parts of Southeast Europe, with some rain expected in Albania, Montenegro and Serbia whilst Bulgaria and Greece should remain mostly dry. Mostly cloudy with light rain or showers across much of France and the Low Countries, and feeling cool here. The warmest temperatures likely found in Brittany and southwest France.
High pressure in control across Scandinavia with a dry and fairly cloudy day across Norway with a few brighter spells across Sweden and Denmark into the afternoon. Cloudy and cold through Tuesday across the Baltics and Poland.

Wednesday
A few coastal shows along the coast of Galicia and the Basque in northern Spain with Portugal remaining mostly dry through Wednesday. However, a rash of showers are expected through the Balearics and Italy through much of the day as low pressure remains in control, with some flash flooding possible in parts of central and northern Italy. A more unsettled day too in Albania and Greece, with heavy and persistent showers through much of the day.
High pressure in control across France with a mostly dry day and a few sunny spells developing later in the afternoon. Mostly dry too across Switzerland, much of Germany, Austria and Slovakia in the anticyclonic conditions. A little rain in the far north of the low countries associated with a weather front to the north. A mostly dry day across Poland once more.
An unsettled day across Scandinavia as bands of rain, possibly falling as sleet or snow in northern parts of the region sweep eastwards across Norway, Sweden, and Finland, with rain a little lighter and patchier across Denmark. Sleet or snow reaches Estonia and Latvia later.
