Breezy with some rain for Greece


Wednesday
A risk of thunderstorms developing for central & south-eastern Spain, whilst Portugal stays hot and dry, topping 35C. Widely fair weather for central Europe with a large zone of high pressure in charge. Temperatures into the upper 20s for south-western France. Lots of sunshine for Alpine areas and countries toward the Black Sea. Some morning fog patches. Around 16 to 19C for Germany and the Low Countries. A few showers for northern Poland.
Dry for Italy, whilst thundery rain stays over the Ionian Sea. Dry but windy for Greece and the Greek islands, highs 19 to 22C. A few showers around the Bosphorus. Light winds for Cyprus.
Windy for Denmark, southern Sweden and the Baltic states, with a belt of heavy rain passing eastwards. Wet for many hours in Finland. Heavy showers for west and northern Norway. Risk of gales for northern Scandinavia as low pressure moves east.


Thursday
Plenty of fair westher and light winds across the continent with high pressure in charge. Some morning fog patches in central Europe. Isolated showers possible for Spain and Portugal. South-western Europe stays very warm. Near 30C in south-west France, and 25C for central France. Warming up a little for Germany and the Low Countries, also the Alps, 19 to 23C.
Dry toward the Black Sea, whilst a northerly wind brings a cool feel to Greece, with a few showers possible. Westerly winds influence Scandinavia. Wet in south-west Norway. Bright and breezy for Denmark. Largely dry for Sweden, up to 16C in the south. Sunshine and showers for Finland, and cool at 8 to 10C.
