Rain and wind in northern Europe, drier and brighter in the Mediterranean


Thursday
Fair for most of Spain and Portugal with plenty of sunshine. More sunshine to come in the Balearics as well as through Corsica and Sardinia. Italy should be fine too with sunshine here. A fine day in Greece and in Turkey.
Breezier in France with some rain and drizzle to the north and west. Breezy and wet for the Low Countries and for much of northern Germany. Poland will have some rain in the west. Hungary will have sunny spells whilst Switzerland and Austria have a few showers.
A day of sunshine and showers in Greece. Breezier with cloud and some rain in Sweden. Denmark will be breezy and fair whilst Finland is also breezy but dry. Norway will be wet in the south and breezy, but dry to the north.

Friday
Cloud and some patchy drizzle in northern Spain. Generally dry for most of Iberia with sunny spells. The balearics, Corsica and Sardinia as well as Italy will be dry with sunny spells. A few showers in western Greece but generally dry. Turkey should be dry too with more sunshine here.
Rain and wind in northern and central France but dry to the south. Further rain cross the Low Countries, some of it heavy. The rain heavy in Germany too and then later in the day across Poland. Drier in Hungary, but some rain for Austria and Switzerland.
Denmark will be wet and cloudy and that rain reaches southern Norway and the south of Sweden too. Chiller for the Baltic States and cloud. Dry and cool in Finland and northern Sweden as well as northern Norway.
