An unsettled spell of weather continues for much of Europe
Outbreaks of rain for Portugal and northwestern Spain. Drier and brighter to the southeast. Rain and thunderstorms clear to the east from Italy leaving isolated showers here but spread across Greece through the day reaching western Turkey later. Dry, bright and warm for central and eastern Turkey.
Heavy outbreaks of thundery rain continue for southern France with frequent showers for northern France, the Low Countries and Germany. Heavy rain and snow for Switzerland and western Austria with a band of heavy rain spreading east across eastern Austria, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland and Hungary.
A wet and windy day for Denmark while the Baltic States see some very heavy outbreaks of rain. Drier and brighter for much of Norway, Sweden and Finland with occasional isolated wintry showers to the far north and outbreaks of rain to the far south.
Heavy rain affecting northern parts of Spain on Tuesday with scattered showers elsewhere and for Portugal. Heavy showers for western parts of Italy but staying dry to the far south. A mostly dry, bright and warm day for Greece and Turkey though western areas could see isolated showers developing.
Showers and outbreaks of rain again for France, the heaviest to the south. Showers too for the Low Countries and northern parts of Germany. Drier and bright to the south. Heavy rain affects Switzerland, Austria, Slovakia, Hungary and the far south of the Czech Republic and Poland. This falling as snow over the Alps. Showers affecting northern Poland but drier for central areas.
Rain clears to the south from Denmark but persists over the Baltic States, falling as snow to the north. Rain also clears southern Sweden to leave a mostly dry and bright day for Norway, Sweden and Finland with just isolated wintry showers affecting far northern areas.
