Heavy and thundery showers over eastern Europe, fair in the west with plenty of sunshine


Wednesday
A scattering of showers in eastern and northern Spain today. Dry for most of the rest of Spain and Portugal with good spells of sunshine. Scattered showers in Corsica and Sardinia, heavy and thundery showers in southern Italy. Northern Italy should be fair with some sunshine. Greece and Turkey will be dry with good spells of sunshine throughout.
Far for France with more sunshine and dry. The Low Countries and Germany as well as Poland will be dry with more sunshine here. Hungary will be dry, but some showers affecting Austria and Switzerland.
Denmark is going to be sunny and should be dry. The dry weather extends through the Baltic States and Finland although it will be cold here. Further sunshine in Sweden and Norway, dry throughout the day.


Thursday
A fine day across Spain and Portugal with plenty of sunshine. There will be some showers in southern Italy, but for most of Italy Corsica and Sardinia it should be fine and sunny. Heavy showers in northern Greece, whilst Turkey should be dry and sunny.
Fair for France with more sunshine here. A few showers in the Low Countries as well as eastern Germany. Western and southern parts of Germany will be dry with sunny spells. Coo through Poland, some showers in the south. Austria, Switzerland and Hungary will all be dry but cold.
A cool day for Denmark with sunny spells. Cold with rain showers and strong winds in the Baltic States. Drier but cold for Finland, some sunshine here. Fair across much of Sweden. Staying sunny but chilly in Norway.
