Showers central Europe, thundery showers in Spain but fair in the east
High pressure centred over central-eastern Europe and the Baltic maintains plenty of fair weather across the continent. Slack low pressure exists toward the west, and will bring areas of rain and possible thunder to central and northern Spain. The south & east of Spain, and most of Portugal stays generally dry.
Some rain may encroach into west and southwestern France, but most of France stays dry and warm. Extensive dry and warm weather for Italy, the Alps, Germany and the Low Countries, plus countries further east including Poland, Hungary and Romania. Chance of isolated showers for Bulgaria and northern Greece. The Mediterranean also stays generally dry. Cooler across Scandinavia, but dry around the Baltic, including most of Sweden and Finland. Scattered showers in the far north. Meanwhile, a frontal system moves into southern Norway bringing rain, some of which may also affect Denmark for a time, and later the far southwest of Sweden.
Thunderstorms across eastern Portugal, central and northern Spain. Drier in the east with sunny spells. Corsica and Sardinia should be dry with sunny spells. Mor sunshine and dry weather to come in Italy as well. A few showers in western Greece, dry in the east with sunny spells. Lots of sunshine for Turkey and warm here too.
Sunshine and showers in France, heavy in the west. Fair for the Low Countries. Isolated showers in western Germany but fair in the east. More sunshine for Poland and dry too in Hungary. Austria and Switzerland will have a few showers, some of them heavy and thundery.
Fair for Denmark, more sunshine to come here. Breezy with rain in the Baltic States and Finland, the rain heavy in places. Fair for much of Norway but breezy. Showers in western and northern Norway, some of it heavy.
