A cold front takes outbreaks of rain eastward over Europe

Easter Monday
Outbreaks of rain, some of it heavy and thundery, for Portugal, Spain and the Balearic Islands. Fair for Italy with scattered light showers arriving to the north later. Dry and bright for Greece and Turkey.
Showers and patchy rain fades from northern France and southern Germany to leave a dry and bright day here. Isolated showers affect the far south of France. Dry and bright for the Low Countries too. Heavy outbreaks of rain clear from Poland and the Czech Republic to leave a dry but cloudy evening here. Heavy outbreaks of rain for Switzerland, Austria, Hungary and Slovakia.
Mostly fair but chilly for Denmark, Norway and Sweden with wintry showers fading through the day. Patchy rain and sleet clears east from the Baltic States leaving a fine end to the day while Finland sees patchy outbreaks of rain and sleet throughout the day.

Tuesday
A mixed day for Portugal and Spain with sunny spells and outbreaks of rain. Cloudy for southern Italy with scattered showers here, dry and brighter to the north. After a dry and bright start for Greece and Turkey, cloud builds from the northwest with outbreaks of rain arriving to the far north later.
Dry and fine conditions spread across France, the Low Countries, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, the Czech Republic and Slovakia. Some cloud along northern coasts of the Low Countries and Germany and across Poland through the day. Early rain clears south from Hungary to leave a bright end to the day here.
A mostly dry and fine day for Denmark though cloud builds through the afternoon. Wintry showers affect the Baltic States and Finland though some sunny spells develop in between. A dry and fine start for Sweden though cloud builds bringing showers to northern areas later. Rain and sleet for northern and western parts of Norway.
