Storm force winds across southern Scandinavia/north Europe on Friday.

Friday
Winds picking up across southern regions of Spain and Portugal with the odd spot of rain but largely dry. Dry and fine elsewhere here and across the Balearics where it will feel warm in the sunshine. Dry, fine with plenty of sun across Italy, the islands, Greece and Turkey, though some mist and fog to start the day.
Windy across the far north of France with some showery rain about. Dry and fine elsewhere. Particularly windy across the Low Countries with gales for some as well as across Germany with showery rain here. Storm force winds through the far north into Denmark. Windy with rain pushing across Poland and Austria. Breezy for Switzerland, gales though towards higher ground.
A deep area of low pressure pushing across southern Scandinavia will see storm force winds through southern Norway, south Sweden and the Baltics where there will be heavy rain too. Drier and less windy further north. Cloudy, wet and windy in the east of Finland, better further west.

Saturday
A few showers through southern Portugal cannot be ruled out, otherwise dry and fine with sunshine. Mostly dry and fine too across Spain and the Balearics. Largely dry and fine through the rest of the Mediterranean with plenty of sunshine and feeling warm for many.
Staying windy, cloudy with the risk of some patchy rain across north France, otherwise dry and fine with sunshine. Windy with plenty of cloud and patchy rain and drizzle across the Low Countries into north and central Germany. Heavier rain expected through central regions of Poland and windy throughout. Breezy with strengthened gusts across Switzerland Austria though mostly dry.
Strengthened winds and gusts through much of Sweden though mainly dry here. Breezy across Norway with snow showers pushing on to northern and western coasts and hills here where it will feel cold. A miserable wet and cloudy day across Finland. Windy across the Baltics but most staying dry.
