Mostly dry and bright for eastern parts of Europe while thundery downpours continue for the central Mediterranean

Showery outbreaks of rain with some heavy bursts embedded spread east across Portugal and Spain on Sunday while further heavy rain affects much of Italy and spreads in the western Balkans. This turns to snow over the Italian Alps. A mostly dry but cloudy day for Greece with rain arriving to the far west later. Dry and bright for Turkey.
A dry and fine day for western France and the Low Countries. Outbreaks of rain and snow affect eastern France and later, through the evening, arrive in Benelux. Heavy snow and rain affect much of Switzerland and Austria while isolated wintry showers reach southern and western parts of Germany. A cloudy but dry day for the rest of Germany, Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary.
Outbreaks of rain and snow clear east from Sweden over Finland through Sunday leaving a mostly dry and fine day for Sweden and Norway with just occasional isolated showers. Mostly dry and fine too for Denmark and the Baltic States.

Monday
A mostly dry and fine day for Portugal and Spain though a few showers persist over northern Spain. Heavy, thundery downpours affect the Balearic Islands, Corsica, Sardinia and the northern half of Italy. Mostly dry and fair for southern Italy. Showers, some of them heavy, spread east across Greece but tend to ease through the afternoon. Another dry and bright day for Turkey.
Heavy outbreaks of rain affect the northern half of France, the Low Countries, northern Germany and the Czech Republic on Monday. This turns to snow over higher ground. Drier and bright for southern France, southern Germany, Austria, Slovakia, Poland and Hungary. Wintry showers continue for Switzerland.
A dry but dull day for Denmark, Finland and the Baltic States. Occasional showers affecting Denmark and northern Finland. An area of heavy rain and snow develops over eastern Norway and western Sweden spreading north across both countries. A dry and bright day for southwest Norway and southeast Sweden.
