A dry and settled spell of weather for many across Europe


Sunday
Sunday is mostly dry and bright for Spain and Portugal though cloud builds from the northwest through the afternoon bringing rain here later. Further heavy rainfall affects the Balearic Islands, Corsica, Sardinia and much of Italy. This spreads east into western Greece later. A few showers for eastern Greece and across Turkey but another mostly dry and bright day here.
A few isolated showers affect France before heavy rain arrives to the far northwest late in the day. A dry and fine day for much of Europe including the Low Countries, Germany, Poland, the Czech Republic, Switzerland, Austria, Slovakia and Hungary.
Dry and fine conditions reach into northern Europe too with Denmark, Norway, Sweden and the Baltic States seeing a fair day too on Sunday. A few snow showers affect central and northern parts of Finland but otherwise a fair day here as well.

Monday
Cloud builds across much of Spain and Portugal with light, showery rain affecting northwestern areas. Staying dry and bright to the southeast. Heavy rain clears to the south of Italy leaving a dry and fine day for Corsica, Sardinia and much of Italy. Heavy, sometimes thundery, outbreaks of rain affect much of Greece and western Turkey.
Showery rain moves across the northern half of France, through the Low Countries and into the far west of Germany later on Monday. Drier to the south of France but staying overcast. Dry and fine conditions extend across Switzerland, Austria, the Czech Republic, Germany, Poland, Slovakia and Hungary. The best of the sun to the east.
A dry and fine day for Denmark while the Baltic States will see some good spells of sunshine. Dry here too. Isolated wintry showers affect parts of Finland. Staying mostly dry and fine for Sweden while outbreaks of rain and snow move into southwest Norway and spread north.
