Low pressure continues to bring unsettled conditions across northern Europe


Monday
Dry, warm and bright for Portugal and Spain with occasional showers developing to the far north of Spain later. Dry, warm and sunny too across the Mediterranean for the Balearics, Italy, the Balkans, Greece and Turkey. Occasional light showers affecting the northern half of Italy at times.
Mostly fair for France with occasional showers to the north. Best of the sun to the south. Showers and breezy conditions continue for the Low Countries and Germany though these generally ease leaving a drier, brighter afternoon here. Occasional light showers affect Switzerland, Austria, the Czech Republic and Slovakia but it's a mostly bright day. Dry and fair for Hungary. Breezy for Poland with some heavy outbreaks of rain.
A cloudy but mostly dry day for Denmark. Breezy here too and for the Baltic States where there will be heavy outbreaks of rain at times. Scattered wintry showers affecting much of Norway while Sweden sees some heavier bursts of rain over central areas. Sunny spells and scattered showers, some heavy, for Finland.

Tuesday
Scattered showers affecting northern parts of Spain and Portugal on Monday with variable amounts of cloud across the rest of Iberia. Plenty of sunny spells here however and for the Balearic Islands too. Occasional scattered showers affect northern Italy too on Tuesday but it's a dry, sunny and bright day for the rest of Italy, the Balkans, Greece and Turkey.
A band of, sometimes heavy, rain spreads across France, the Low Countries, Germany and Switzerland on Tuesday followed by frequent showers from the west. A bright start for the Czech Republic and Austria but clouding over here through the day with showers to the far west later. Clouding over too in Poland with heavy outbreaks of rain for northern areas. Dry and bright for Slovakia and Hungary.
Cloudy again for Denmark with heavy outbreaks of rain to the south. Showery to start for the Baltic States but brighter through the afternoon before rain arrives to the south through the evening. Wintry showers affect northern and western parts of Sweden and Norway while Finland sees heavy outbreaks of rain. Dry and bright for southern parts of Norway and Sweden.
