Unsettled for most of Europe with periods of rain and showers, turning colder in the north and west too

Thursday
Rain across northern coasts of Spain. Showers and chilly in central and eastern areas of Spain. Dry in the south and through Portugal with good spells of sunshine. Rain passing south through the Balearics with some heavy rain in Corsica and Sardinia. The rai afecting central and northern parts of Italy, sometimes heavy. The south should be dry with sunny spells. A few showers in western Greece but mostly dry. Turkey will have sunny spells and should be dry too.
A cold day in France with bands of showers moving south, some sunny spells. Heavy and frequent showers for the Low Countries, some of them wintry. Further showers in Germany, most in central and western areas. Poland should be dry with sunny spells, although wind and some rain in the north. Hungary and Austria and swell as Switzerland will be wet.
Chilly for Denmark with sunny spells. Fair in much of Sweden. Rain and sleet will be turning to snow in the Baltic States. Finland will be chilly and dry. Showers in coastal areas of Norway, drier inland with sunny spells.

Friday
Fine through most of Portugal and Spain today with some showers affecting northern coasts. The Balearics are going to be dry too with sunny spells. Scattered showerfor Corsica and Sardinia. Heavier, sometimes thundery rain in central and southern Italy whilst the north is dry. Heavy rain for Greece, some of it thundery and extending into the west of Turkey. Central and eastern Turkey will be dry with sunny spells.
Rain and wind for the north and west of France. Eastern France is likely to be drier with some sunny spells here and breezy too. Breezy in the Netherlands with some rain in the afternoon. Broken cloud in Germany with sunny spells and staying fair in Poland too. Hungary, Austria and Switzerland will be dry with some sunny spells and should be mild.
Cloud and outbreaks of rain in Denmark, rather murky here. Sow affecting the Baltic States and it is likely to be fairly wintry across Finland. Northern Sweden will have a few wintry showers whilst central and southern areas are dry. Some showers for western and southern parts of Norway, these tending to fall as snow.
