High pressure extends across western Europe, bringing a fair and mild day to Spain, Portugal and much of France. Temperatures reaching 19C in the Algarve, and locally 17C on the Biscay coast. A cold front extends across central Europe, bringing rain or mountain snow to the Alps, Czech Republic and Poland. Outbreaks of rain or drizzle for Germany and the Low Countries. Largely dry for south-eastern Europe with high pressure centred around the Black Sea. Quiet weather too for much of the Mediterranean, although risk of local showers for northern Italy. Dry and fairly mild for southern Scandinavia, highs 4 to 7C. A brisk westerly breeze around the Baltic, particularly toward the north. Showers affect northern Norway and Finland.

High pressure extends across central Europe, whilst low pressure is to the north, and slack pressure influences the Mediterranean. Areas of showery rain are likely to break out across western Spain and Portugal, whilst eastern Iberia stays dry and warm. Fair weather extends across the western Mediterranean, France and a good portion of central Europe. Risk of a zone of heavy rain affecting Italy and the Balkan states. Chance of showers for Greece , but much of the day should be dry. Patchy rain for Poland and Romania, but amounts small. A mild south-westerly breeze affects Scandinavia. Dry for Denmark and southern Sweden, but wet in western Norway.
